SMS/MMS Text Messaging Program Terms

Program description

Really Katie Hobbs operates a recurring SMS/MMS text messaging program. Messages may include campaign alerts, updates, calls to action, event information, and possible fundraising solicitations.

How to opt in

You join the program by entering your mobile phone number on our sign-up form and affirmatively checking the consent box. The consent box is never pre-checked. Providing a mobile phone number is optional, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, donation, or of receiving any other service from us.

Message frequency

Message frequency may vary.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to every message you send or receive. Check your plan with your carrier if you are unsure of the charges.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time to end the program. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.

Your privacy

We share your number only with the messaging service providers that deliver the program on our behalf, and only so they can deliver it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Carriers and delivery

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of, or have permission from the account holder of, the mobile phone number you provide. Messages are sent to U.S. mobile numbers only.

Changes to your number

If you change or deactivate the mobile number you gave us, please notify us at info@reallykatiehobbs.com so we can update our records.

Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use automated systems to harvest information from it.
